Chiara Micalizzi. She’s a facilitator and consultant, with more than 15 years of experience in the business sector.

She merges her business background with her passion for creative thinking, to teach people to reach their business goals, by realizing we don’t have any real box around us (so we don’t need to think outside of the box but simply realize there is no box!).
She uses her creativity to innovate team, leadership and coaching activities. she helps companies and people to create a future (and a present!) flexible, adaptable and generating changes useful for themselves and what surrounds them.
She loves to dream, create new paths and travel them using both the skills she’s learnt and the new abilities she’s creating. 

 

WHAT

The porcelain is as beautiful and fragile as life. Both of them can crash into many pieces but this is not a good reason why to stop to live intensely.

By the Kintsugi we can learn to “reassemble ourselves” after the adversities, to “pick up the pieces” and make precious our imperfection.

Kintsugi is a synonym for resilience. Connection is the game. Healing comes from connection not perfection.

During this online experience:
– you will learn what Kintsugi is and the principles on the base of this ancient Japanese technique;
– using this metaphor, you will reflect on the imperfection (of an object, an event, your life);
– you will practice this technique with a bowl (or one of your own object) and you will find new meanings of some aspects of you or your life that you don’t like;
– you will be guided calmly online and you will work at your warm home;
– you will bring back a unique art object that will remember your personal Kintsugi experience.

DO IT YOURSELF option

Be sure to have with you these materials:

• a bowl (or another object) broken off into pieces
• a paintbrush
• golden acrylic paint colour
• instant glue
• masking tape/adhesive labels
• a crayon
• dishcloth/towel
• some sheets of paper
