She is among the artists invited by Aboca, “abocaforecology”, International Lectures on Nature and Human Ecology, meetings with biologists, naturalists, artists and philosophers to deepen the relationship between man and nature from a scientific and philosophical point of view.
Simona Rinciari should have received the International Award for Human Ecology in October 2020, promoted by the Abbazia di Spineto Study Center with the support of Aboca.
We recognize in her masterpieces a deep ecology approach: she re-use (as circular economy does) poor waste materials and transform them in a new way, giving them a new identity, more value, using low-energy processes. Moreover her vast culture on plants, religions, mythology permit to understand better and in a wider picture the strong relationship between humans and nature.
Thanks to our efforts Simona Rinciari is now on Wellmade list of the best master of art in Italy, and Selected by HOMI Fashion &Jewels Vegetable microsculptures to wear! #BESUSTAINABLE #BEGREEN #NATURALMATERIALS
From Her Manifesto:
“My alchemical process consists in making the inconsistent consistent, the mutable fixed, the soft hard, the brittle resistant, the transient eternal.
The observation of nature, of its cycles, of heat, of cold, of humid, of dryness, of its vicissitudes, have taught me that experience is always half of experience and it is this hidden second half that I I am dedicated. In other words, I have tried to restore to the visible the semblant hidden in these perishable materials
