PRODUCTION AREA: Montebello di Poggio Torriana, altitude 400 m a.s.l. The soil is sedimentary, originated from chalky marl. Vineyard age: 20 years, facing south-east.
GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese 100%. Spurred cordon system.
PRODUCTION: the average production is 13.000 bottles. Density of about 6500 plants per hectare with a yield of 80 quintals per hectare. The grape harvest and selection are carried out by hand with thinning in the vineyard. Since 2017 we have obtained the organic certification.
WINEMAKING: in steel.
AGING: 1 year in steel and 6 months in bottle.
